The third seminar on the theme of “Aqsa Flood” titled “Jurisprudence of National Objectives” was conducted by the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Future University in Egypt. The event took place on November 20, 2023, at the University theater. The distinguished guest speaker at the event was his Eminence, the Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Shawky Allam. The event also featured Hamdy Rizk, a prominent Egyptian writer and journalist, who served as the event moderator. Additionally, addresses were delivered by Prof. Ebada Sarhan, the president of the university, and Prof. Salwa Thabet, the Dean of the Faculty. The occasion was additionally attended by members of the Faculty and student body.
During the lecture, Dr. Shawky Allam provided a comprehensive analysis of several concepts, commencing with a fundamental elucidation of the presentation’s title, which pertains to comprehending the objectives and challenges associated with the nation and its foremost concerns. The subsequent concept deliberated pertained to the interconnection between the Palestinian dilemma and Egypt’s influence and existence. Additionally, the speaker asserted that plurality in Egypt encompasses three distinct levels: sociological, religious, and legislative. It is argued that this form of plurality embodies the fundamental principles governing the universe. The speaker concluded his statement by directing his remarks towards the younger generation and emphasizing their crucial role in advancing the Palestinian cause. He emphasized the importance of their responsibility to pursue education, as it is through this process that they will have an inclusive understanding of the complexities and intricacies surrounding the situation.
